PTFE Encapsulated Ring
Types
Encapsulated O-rings include PTFE encapsulated O-rings, FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) encapsulated O-rings, PFA (Perfluoroalkoxy)encapsulated O-rings, square cross-section seal rings and rectangular cross-section seal rings.
Features
1. FEP encapsulated O-ring
This seal ring is clear and smooth, having a self-lubricating surface. It features excellent chemical and corrosion resistance, and superior resilience. It is approved by USP class VI.
2. PFA encapsulated O-ring
This seal ring is clear with light blue color. Its maximum temperature should be 260℃ (500℉), featuring excellent heat and chemical resistance. This O-ring has better crack and stress resistance than FEP. And it has low vapor permeation. It is approved by USP class VI.
